#1 Bukit Tabur

Bukit Tabur is a hill located in Selangor, Malaysia. It is also known locally as Bukit Hangus.


The hiking trail to Bukit Tabur can be found at 3°14′1″N 101°44′55″E.


Suitable for those who love challenge and hiking.



#2 Genting Highlands

Genting Highlands is a cool hill station set amidst the cool mountain air and a majestic 100 million-year-old rainforest.


Just 45 minutes away from KL City, it offers indoor and outdoor theme parks, an 18-hole golf course, a casino, and Malaysia’s biggest strawberry farm, all of which are set amidst a majestic 100 million-year-old rainforest.

#4 Bukit Bintang

One of the most iconic landmarks here is Pavilion KL, an upscale shopping mall that houses European luxury retailers such as Coach, Diane Von Furstenberg, Dolce & Gabbana, Juicy Couture, MaxMara, Versace, and Yves Saint Laurent.


Nightlife in Bukit Bintang is also legendary, particularly the Changkat Bukit Bintang area. Whether you are looking for a live music scene, a posh see-and-be-seen nightclub, or an opulent rooftop bar, Bukit Bintang has it all.



#5 Merdeka Square

Merdeka Square is undoubtedly KL’s best known landmark also called Dataran Merdeka.


Getting There:

Three train lines that runs through the Masjid Jamek station. Walk towards Jamek Mosque from the station and proceed to the corner and towards the Merdeka Square.



#6 Aquaria KLCC

There are a variety of feeding sessions happening every day at Aquaria; curious crabs should head on early to the Touch Pool at 11.15am to watch the horseshoe crab feeding, while otter lovers get to pick between the morning (11.30am) or evening (4.30pm) slot for whimsical time at The Stream.



#7 Batu Caves

Batu Caves is a an iconic and popular tourist attraction in Selangor.


Getting Here


❤️By Car or Taxi

Batu Caves is accessible by car or taxi as it is situated beside the main highway of MRR2 in Batu Caves area.


❤️KTM Komuter

There is also the KTM Komuter train service from KL Sentral to Batu Caves.


❤️Monorail and Bus

From KL Sentral, take the monorail service to Titiwangsa station. Alight here and take the bus to Batu Caves.



#8 Suria KLCC

It is so close to KLCC Park and the KL Convention Centre: and with a light rail transit (LRT) station set adjacent to the building, the mall is easy to reach.



#9 KLCC Park

Besides the various waterfalls, fountains, cascade and reflecting pools scattered around the park, there are a variety of facilities at KLCC Park including a two-acre children’s playground, a 1.3km-long jogging track, shelters and benches, patterned footpaths and sculptures.



#10 KL Tower

Menara KL’s viewing deck is, at 276 metres, at least 100 metres higher than the Petronas Twin Towers’ Skybridge; the view is marvellous during the day and even better at night when you can see the entire sparkling city centre.

Location: Jalan Tun Perak (across from Dataran Merdeka on Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin)

How to get there: Take the LRT and alight at Masjid Jamek station. This building is 10 minutes walk from the station.

Driving

By Train

  • The old Kuala Lumpur station is around 5 minutes walk away.


Walking

  • You can walk to the museum as part of my Kuala Lumpur Lake Gardens trail.

How to get there: Near Sentral Station, however, you have to figure out the best way to walk across the highway to get there from that stop.



#24 national Mosque of Malaysia

The National Mosque of Malaysia is located at Kuala Lumpur. The mosque has a large capacity of 15,000 people and is surrounded by lush greenery which expands to a 13-acre land.


Getting There:

The easiest way to get to the National Mosque is via taxi. Per trip via taxi should set you back about RM20 from anywhere within the city center.


you can take the RapidKL bus (B101 and B112) and get off at the Dayabumi Complex. From the complex, you can walk to the National Mosque.


If you plan to take the KTM Kommuter, just remember to stop at the Old Kuala Lumpur Railway Station. You will need to walk towards the National Mosque.
