Where to go:

A. Oryukdo Skywalk

Coming from Canvas Hostel, we took bus 1003 heading towards the same side of the road from where we got down coming from Busan Station.

1. Ride bus 1003

2. Get down at Kyungsung Univ., Pukyong National Univ Station (9 stops)

3. Ride bus 131 (no need to walk to change bus, stay at the bus station when you get down of Kyungsung Univ., Pukyong National Univ Station)

4. Get down at Oryukdo SK View Back Gate (last stop)

falling in love wit Busan

we decided to eat lunch first before exploring more of the place! (you can find mr sushi where the condominiums are (a bit of a walk from the skywalk)

no english menu! my Korean skills were challenged. Their chirashi don was to die for

free udon (part of the chirashi don order)

After having lunch, we decided to explore more of the area, we noticed this pathway after walking on the skywalk:

We decided to go near the ocean, to our surprise the place was a good place to take some photos.

there is an area where you can your photo inside the information center

B. Gamcheon Culture Village

Decided to visit Gamcheon towards sunset, I saw some photos and read some blogs that it was magical to catch the sunset there.

Coming from Canvas Hostel, we took bus 1003 heading towards the same side of the road from where we got down coming from Busan Station.

1. Ride bus 1003

2. Get down at Chungmu-dong Intersection (17 stops)

3. Ride bus 1-1/2/2-2 (no need to walk to change bus, stay at the bus station when you get down of Chungmu-dong Intersection)

4. Get down at Gamcheon Culture Village (maybe around 11 stops? just be alert of your surroundings)

this is how the 1-1/2/2-2 bus will look like!

tall friend cannot fit their local bus :c

We went down when we saw this sign:

went down when we saw this!

view from the bus stop

We “hiked” back from the bus stop because if we keep on walking down, it won’t be towards Gamcheon Culture Village anymore.

we roamed around the area

we decided to wait for the sunset in this coffee shop (we noticed the photo outside!! their rooftop was pretty)

look for the door leading to the toilet

climb the stairs

climb more stairs

WE HAD THE PLACE TO OURSELVES (sorry for the blurry photo, I was obvi excited and happy)

FIRST TIME TO WITNESS A BLUE SUNSET!! BUSAN WAS MAKING MY HEART FLUTTER

We were hungry to find a good restaurant so we decided to go down at Chungmu-dong Intersection after riding the 1-1/2/2-2 bus and went inside this pork BBQ restaurant.

not hard to miss the place, their sign was huge

thank you Yan for always cooking for us

DAY 2

A. Sunrise chasing at Haeundae Beach

Okay so here is finally the one I’ve been waiting for as soon as we arrived at Busan. We checked the weather app and it told us that sunrise starts at around 5:40 am, we were already walking towards Haeundae Beach at around 5:20!

Why only walk?? It’s because we booked at Canvas Hostel!! I was looking for hostels that is near Haeundae Beach since I was wanted to see the sunrise! You’ll just walk straight as soon as you walk towards the bus stop. The photos wasn’t able to justify the beauty of the sunrise.

B. Samnak Eco-Park

So one of my best friends tagged me on twitter that there is a pathway in Busan that is FILLED with cherry blossoms! We decided to go the place!

We got semi-lost going to the place.. but I took the bus stop that is near the park!

only bus number 123/126 pass by here

If you get down at this station, you’ll see the park already!

could’ve been perfect if we weren’t too late but there were still cherry blossoms!

C. BIFF Square

sorry we got lost (again) it was my first time in Busan :c but took a photo of the bus stop where we went down!

closest subway to BIFF square

we kept on walking

walking

when you notice TOPTEN you finally arrived at BIFF square!

BIFF square is like Busan’s version of Seoul’s Myeongdong

handprints of directors

D. Kakao Friends Store/ APeach Cafe

Again, I’m so sorry we got lost but while walking around BIFF square we found Kakao Friends Store/APeach Cafe by accident!

okay if you see this place you are super near already

walk down the road, you’ll see Kakao Friends on your right

ARRIVED!

APeach Cafe is on the 4th floor!

take a photo with Ryan on the first floor!

APEACH LOVIN

TOO CUTE

all photos taken using an iPhone / Fujifilm X-A3 18-55mm

That concludes our 2 days adventure in Busan! I would want to go back and explore more of the place. Busan was so chill and we enjoyed taking our time and enjoying what Busan has to offer.
