2. Transport

We rent car for the whole journey, used for 5.5 days (23/7 11.30am to 28/7 7.30pm). There is a variety of car rental company in Hokkaido such as Toyota (Price is slightly higher but it is the first choice for most of the people, Tocoo, Nissan and so on. I used World Net Rent A Car because it is cheaper. Overall, the car condition and service is really good!

⭐Tips：

👉 I will normally book 3 months in advance. It will never be wrong if you book early and it will normally have early bird promotion price!

👉 If it’s possible, remember to buy the ETC highway card. For those who plan to drive for a long journey, this can help you to save a lot of highway fees. We could not purchase this card so we spend a lot on Toll!

👉 You can also purchase insurance on the spot but it depends on yourself. The staff will not force you to purchase.

We went to different hotel to stay in different places. As we drive ourselves so we can go wherever we want then we moved out from the hotel at night.
