The itinerary is pretty simple:

[DAY 1 UPON ARRIVAL] slept at hotel

[DAY 2] Shopped and ate around Ho Chi Minh City Centre Visited some famous tourist attractions like Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica, Saigon Central Post Office, Book Street, Phạm Ngũ Lão Street, etc.

[DAY 3] Took a ride on a sleeping bus at Phạm Ngũ Lão Street early in the morning. It took 5 hours to reach Sand Dunes of Mui Ne.

[DAY 4] Enjoyed the whole day at Luxury Villa Pool Mui Ne. Took a sleeping bus back to Ho Chi Minh. Had barbecue meat at 5Ku Station.

[DAY 5] Visited Nhà thờ Tân Định (The Pink Cathedral) and War Museum. Took a flight back to Malaysia

✈️IMPORTANT INFORMATION ✈️

🚕TRANSPORTATION🚕

👉Uber/Grabcar all the way, one ride of 2~5km usually costs RM6~8, which is considered cheap and convenient as most of the locals do not understand English/Mandarin well. App helps in communicating wth them better.

👉Tips: Do compare the prices of both Uber and Grabcar to get the cheaper one.

👉Taxi rates are according to meter and usually slightly more expensive than Uber/Grabcar.

👉Solo traveller may consider taking Grab Bike which is cheaper than Grab Car. Grab Bikers, Especially if you're bringing only one baggage.

📞MOBILE COMMUNICATION📞

👉There are a few recommended brands: Mobiphone, Vinaphone and Viettel. I personally used Viette with 3.5G internet speed, and the coverage was good from Ho Chi Min to Mũi Né. Only RM30 for unlimited internet package!

🍔FOOD🍔

👉The famous must-try's are beef rice noodles, cơm tấm (broken rice), barbecue, spring rolls, French bread, etc. The local dishes are usually cheap, and given freely together with meals.

👉Vietnamese coffee usually come together with iced tea - the locals are used to having it this way.
