Boracay Island, the small beautiful island in the central Philippines, is a paradise for both nature and water sports lovers. Whether you plan to relax on the scenic white beach surrounded by palm trees or enjoy extremely exciting water sports, this island will be the right escape for you.

There are different stations in Boracay Island. Station 1 is the home of numerous luxurious resorts and popular landmarks, with the widest beach compared to the other stations. Station 2 offers a plenty of mid-range resorts and the biggest shopping areas, D’mall. Station 3 is a lot peaceful with its rich green environment.

Peak Season: May

About FOOD

The food here were not cheap. A meal could simply cost Php300 (around RM25-30). You can get more choices of food in Station 2. Starbucks and Pizza Hut is located in between Station 1 and Station 2.

About TRANSPORT

🚌 I took Aerobus from Premiere hotel, Klang. The bus departed on time and reached KLIA2 after 1 hour. You may book the bus ticket in premier hotel or purchase online at Aerobus (RM13/pax).

✈️ I flew to Kalibo airport (10:50AM Kuala Lumpur > 2:45PM Kalibo). If you are too, choose the morning flight as you will still need to spend another 3 hours to reach Boracay Island.

🚙 Once you reach airport, you may take the transport from Southwest company. Look for the counter that right in front of the exit, or book the service online in advance.

About ACCOMMODATION

I stay in Station 3, and the resort I chose, Hey Jude South Beach Resort, was just few steps to the beach. My room was on the 2nd floor and I could access the sharing balcony which had the front beach view. The hotel staffs were friendly and I loved sleeping on their beach bench for the whole day 😍

I really love the tranquil beach of Station 3, and don’t mind walking everyday to other stations for some food 😎

If you wish to connect Internet, you may go to the hotel’s lobby, or buy the local SIM card. Although I always rent portable Wiyo for internet connection while travelling oversea, it somehow didn't connect well in Boracay Island (I'm getting my full refund from Wiyo)

*Note* Php12782 for 5 nights, 1 room for 2 pax (included breakfasts)
