💰Exchange Rate
RM1 = HKD1.97
✈️Flight tickets
💭Malaysia Airlines RM520.38
The flight was really cheap at that time including (30kg luggage back and forth + flight meal)
🏨Hotel
💭Agoda – Jordan Comfort Inn RM265.38/per pax for 5 nights
💭The location is really good as the subway station is only 1 minute away from the hotel. However, the room is too small. Get ready for those who are planning to visit Hong Kong. The rooms here are very narrow but overall it’s fine. There is a bus that will take us to the hotel from the airport.
📲Wi-Fi
💭Travel Recommend Asia Package RM34.75/per pax 6 Days
💭Macau One Day Sim Card RM6.5/per pax
💭I recommend buying Sim Card at Hong Kong because it is more convenient. It is normally unlimited internet data for China, Hong Kong and Macau. The Wi-Fi Router that we bought is limited and there was an unexpected situation when were in Macau. Thus, we are forced to purchase another Sim Card🤦🏻♀️
“Not recommend to buy Sim Card at the airport because stalls that are selling outside of the airport will be cheaper”
🚇Transport
💭Subway station + Tram + Back and forth airport bus RM130/per pax
💭Macau public bus RM 6.10/per pax
💭Having an Octopus Card in Hong Kong can be really convenient. It can be used at Subway station, bus, tram, convenient store and so on. However, you need to pay HKD50 for deposit before purchasing it which the deposit can be returned. You will be charged HKD9 of the service fee if you do not used it fully for 90 days. This means that you will only get back HKD41 of your deposit + the balance you have in your card.
“Recommend to download HongKong MTR app as it is really convenient.”
🎫Entrance fees
🏯Disneyland RM258 (KKDAY)
🎡Ocean Park RM200 (KKDAY)
⛰️The Peak One Way + Observation Deck RM35 (KLOOK)
🚢Macau round-trip ticket RM145 (KLOOK)
💬You can compare the price at KLOOK & KKDAY which is cheaper than buying it on the spot
“Recommend to purchase the entrance fees in advance which can help you to save more money + time”
🍜Food RM381.20/per pax
🛍Expense RM370/per pax
💬Expenses depend on you spent your money. I only bought some biscuit for souvenirs. There is a lot of branded products in Hong Kong. Bring more cash if you wish to shop crazily here.

📝Tips
🌸You can just use Google map or Apple map to travel around Hong Kong
🌸Octopus Card can be purchased at the subway station. 7-11 do not sell this
🌸You can look for the routes of the tram if you wish to ride on it
“Recommend to ride on the tram. The fee is HKD2.6 for adults no matter how many how many place you stop. You can even enjoy the view of Hong Kong.
🌸You can use HKD in Macau but the Octopus Card can only be used in Hong Kong
⚠️Reminder
✔️You might need sit with strangers as the the restaurant in Hong Kong is small. Also, try to order faster or decide before calling the waiter so that you won’t get scolded. Leave immediately after finishing your meal before getting scolded.
✔️Don’t touch the things along the street if you do not want to purchase. Do not simply ask them for the price without purchasing it. They will swear at you in public.
✔️Try not to block the road by standing on the right of the elevator.
✔️Give space to the priorities while taking the subway or public transport to prevent getting scold by the public.
✔️The authentic must buy souvenir in Hong Kong is called Jenny Bakery. Jenny Cookies are mostly fake. It is better to buy at their merchandise shop (Sheung Wan and Tsim Sha Tsui)
✔️The portion of the meals in Hong Kong is quite big so we order to share mostly. Remember to pay attention on the portion of the food before ordering it.
Own Thoughts🙇♀️
🎈Hong Kong is considered as a nice country. Highly recommend people to visit because the transport is really convenient. However, the Hong Kees are not friendly so be prepared by how they communicate.
🎈Macau has a lot of things to eat and not really much things to buy. There’s a lot of bakery shops in Macau. It is still worth coming here as the sceneries are very nice
🎈Pay attention on the flight tickets. You can really save a lot of money if you get to purchase it at a cheap price especially towards year end.
