In Cambodia, you transact with US Dollars and Cambodian Riel ($1 = 4000KHR). Then Vietnamese Dong in Vietnam, but some hostels do accept US Dollars. There are no ATMs at the border so better change your money before crossing. Locals does not accept US Dollars or KHR in Vietnam.
