If you want a change from the bustling urban Bangkok, then Hua Hin is it. It’s approximately 144 kilometres (90 miles) from Bangkok to Hua Hin. You can take the bus, minibus, car, train and airplane from Bangkok to Hua Hin.
🚌Hourly bus services are available from Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai Bus Terminal, Pinklao) in Bangkok from 0400 hrs to 2220 hrs. The ticket costs about 160 THB.The journey duration is three to three and a half hours.
🚐Minibuses are much faster than buses. They cover the distance is about two and a half hours. They have a limited seating capacity of 11-12 seats. Minibuses ply the route every 15 minutes from 0600 hrs to 1900 hrs. The ticket costs 200 THB.
🚈Train is a safer and comfortable way to reach Hua Hin from Bangkok. Train tickets can be reserved 60 days in advance either in person at any railway station of Thailand or online. Online reservations cost 200 THB extra, which is levied at the railway station, where you go to collect the tickets. The journey time is 3½ to 4 hours.

Getting there: The red bus Petchaburi – Hua Hin leaves every 20 to 30 minutes from Hua Hin local market. Notify the driver that you are getting off at Santorini Park Cha-Am.

Phraya Nakhon Cave

Getting there: From downtown Phetchaburi minibus station, Tham Khao Bin is a 20-minute bus ride. You will be dropped off along the highway, from there, the cave is 2km walking distance away. Round-trip bus fare should could 150 Baht. You can also reach the cave by tuk-tuk, rickshaw or motorbike.

Getting there: From Hua Hin, take the orange bus to Patchaburi (30 Baht). You will see the hill on your left, get off at the next T-junction. From there you will venture by foot up the hill toward the site. It is however, a strenuous hike. Some may choose to take the tram up to the top which is on the opposite side of the hill.
